Daphne Stern makes paintings, collages, drawings
and photographs, as well as digital and mixed media
work. Born in Mexico City, she has lived in
Nicaragua, England, Hollywood and New York. Her
first painting was completed on the wall of a
neighbor's garage when she was three, and that was
the last time she had to apologize for impromptu
inspiration. Since then, she has shown her work in
exhibitions, the homes of friends and family, and
online. Daphne has two grown children and lives
with her husband in Montauk, New York.
